A New World: intimate music from FINAL FANTASY features newly-arranged pieces from the FINAL FANTASY series, from its beginnings more than 25 years ago to now, performed by a chamber ensemble in different formats: strings quartet, piano and guitar solos, duos, trios, up until a 11-player ensemble… The A New World programme is a rare and intimate moment within the extraordinary richness of the FINAL FANTASY musical world.
“The concept and setlist were prepared in close collaboration between Square Enix and the AWR Music Productions team. We wanted to offer some popular themes that had not yet been performed at Distant World. But the chamber music aspect was at the core: something pleasant to listen to, in an intimate setup and superb setting with exceptional acoustics.” –Arnie Roth
Attending the Parisian concerts were Arnie Roth (music director, violin solo, conductor), composer Hitoshi Sakimoto (FINAL FANTASY Tactics, FINAL FANTASY XII), virtuoso Benyamin Nuss (piano), and soloists from the Sinfonia Pop Orchestra.
